This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and ethical behavior on the performance of junior high school teachers in Bandar Lampung. The research is based on the consideration that the success of teachers in carrying out their professional roles is not only determined by technical competence but also by psychological factors and ethical condusct that shape the quality of educational services. This study employed a causal quantitative design, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 140 teachers, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that emotional intelligence and ethical behavior have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Teachers with strong emotional intelligence are better able to manage stress, communicate effectively, and build constructive relationships in learning environments, which supports higher performance. In addition, ethical behavior such as integrity, responsibility, professionalism, and fairness strengthens interpersonal trust and enhances educational service quality. These results emphasize that developing teachers’ emotional intelligence and professional ethics should be prioritized through continuous training, institutional support, and systematic performance evaluation to improve teacher performance and the overall quality of education in the modern era
